Aromatically expressive with notes of raspberry, rose petal, and black tea, this wine opens with lift and clarity. The palate unfolds with flavors of cherry, cranberry, and blood orange, framed by silky tannins and a precise core of acidity. We source from two premium, certified organic vineyard sites in the renowned Anderson Valley appellation. One is perched on a plateau just a few miles from the Pacific Ocean, planted in 2006 to a diverse selection of Pinot Noir clones. The ocean influence and elevated position make it one of our latest-ripening sites, consistently yielding vibrant, expressive fruit that captures the nuance of each vintage. The second site has ideal exposure and mature vines rooted in mineral-rich soils, this vineyard contributes elegance, structure, and aromatic depth to the blend.

Approximately 25% of the fruit underwent whole cluster fermentation, adding aromatic lift and structural complexity. Each lot was fermented and aged separately to preserve the character of each site. The wine was then aged for 16 months (élevage) in French oak barrels, with 15% new oak used to provide subtle spice and texture, while the remaining portion rested in neutral oak to maintain purity of fruit and site expression. The final blend reflects our commitment to crafting Pinot Noir that is both true to the terroir of Anderson Valley and unmistakably our own in style.
